Wilson Quality Millwork offers the following wood species for you to choose from for your custom project, pending availability. Images provided are representative samples. Red Oak and Poplar are in-stock at all times.
Ash

Very strong with a pronounced grain pattern that finishes to a bright luster. Excellent to use where strength is required.
White Ash

Very strong with a pronounced grain pattern that finishes to a bright luster. Excellent to use where strength is required.
Cherry

Beautiful markings with occasional clusters of fine knots or small dark streaks. Medium weight wood that finishes to a silky luster.
Hickory

Dense and wide ringed. Often used for interiors where an early American look is desired. White to dark brown with brown streaks.
Maple

Strong hardwood that is typically straight grained with uniform texture. A beautiful wood that polishes well.
Poplar

Stains evenly and takes on the appearance of walnut or cherry. Fine, even texture with a straight grain. Good for staining or painting. Color from pale white to dark green.
Red Oak

Favorite of both customers and craftsmen. Pale white with dramatic grain patterns in light pink to dark reddish brown. Excellent staining quality. Easy to work with.
Walnut

Strong marking and wavy grain enhance the beauty of this brown hardwood. Unsurpassed finishing properties.
White Oak

Finer grained oak that takes on a gray-brown color. Preferred choice for light contemporary interiors.
Birch

Heavy, hard and strong with generally straight grain and a fine uniform texture. Takes stains and polish extremely well.
